Our project was prominently featured at the Sustainable Blue Economy Partnership (SBEP) Week 2026, held in Bucharest, Romania, from 10–12 February 2026, where leading research and innovation initiatives came together to accelerate the transition toward a sustainable blue economy.
As part of this high-level international gathering, we contributed to discussions addressing key challenges and solutions in marine and maritime sustainability. The SBEP Symposium on 11 February, the flagship event of the week, placed projects at the center of attention through targeted sessions designed to maximize visibility, foster strategic dialogue, and stimulate collaboration across disciplines and sectors.

During the event, we:
Presented our latest results and demonstrated the relevance of our work to real-world sustainability challenges
Engaged with policymakers, industry representatives, and fellow researchers to strengthen the impact and applicability of our research
Identified new opportunities for collaboration and future project development
Our participation reinforced the role of our project in contributing to innovative, science-based solutions that support a resilient and sustainable blue economy.
We thank the Sustainable Blue Economy Partnership for creating a platform that not only highlights project achievements but also actively drives collaboration and impact across the research and innovation landscape.
